Hello everyone,
Due to some spamming activity here on the forum, I've set it up so all new registrations have to be approved by an admin (either Janet or myself.)
If you have already registered, and are successfully posting on the board, you do not need to register again.
It seems that some spammers have successfully registered on the forum, either manually or using a sophisticated program that can read the image verification portion of the registration page.
However, be assured that while these members may have been able to contact you via email, they DO NOT have your email addresses. This forum is set up to send all email to members only through the program itself, NOT via regular email. Once their user names are deleted from the member list, they no longer have access to your mailboxes.
Any email message sent by a member of this forum will have the following prefix:
| Quote: | Hello [your user name],
The following is an email sent to you by admin via your account on Nelson's Funny Farm. If this message is spam, contains abusive or other comments you find offensive please contact the webmaster of the board at the following address:
[The forum administrator's email address will be here.]
Include this full email (particularly the headers). Please note that the reply address to this email has been set to that of admin.

I apologize if any of you have been bothered by these spammers. If you have received any spam through this forum, I would appreciate knowing about it immediately, along with the user name of the member who sent the spam. You can Private message it to me (admin) directly.
Also, if any of you have trouble registering for the forum, please let me know that as well and we can assist you.

I am pleased to announce that with the new visual verification system we have installed, the spammers have been stopped, and we will no longer need to approve each individual user registration.
From now on, new registrants will be able to simply click the links on their activation emails, and will be able to post as soon as they do that.
